Steps to selling your property
- Contact us to arrange a contract for sale and all attachments that are necessary. This is required by law before you are or an agent is able to show your property to any prospective buyers.
- Enlist the services of a Real Estate Agent if you have decided to use one. Decide whether to sell your home by private treaty or auction.
- Negotiate and accept an offer.
- Sign copy of the contract and exchange it with a copy of the contract signed by the purchaser.
- If you are paying out an existing loan we will advise your lending provider and arrange to have your mortgage discharged.
- Finalise the contract and sign the transfer.
- Settlement. The day when you hand over the keys. We will attend settlement on your behalf along with representatives from the sellers and the lending providers. The balance of the purchase price is paid and theĀ deeds are handed over.
